I am focusing on developing a benchmark to assess the industrial suitability of current 6D positioning methods for intuitive programming. This involves the creation and evaluation of new data sets and appropriate metrics. A robotic approach will be used to annotate the data with ground truth. This reduces the manual effort and helps to close the Sim2Real gap.

Furthermore, my research group is working on the development of a holistic approach for intuitive robot programming using augmented reality. This approach is primarily aimed at small and medium-sized companies and is intended to provide an open, simple and cost-effective way of meeting the challenges currently faced in industrial production.
